It is not usually advisable to exhibit at a new trade show. New trade shows are untested venues, and small businesses seldom have the time and money to experiment on unknowns. Just save your money for the regular, proven shows in your industry.
The exception to this rule would be if the new trade show is in a sure, popular venue with good marketing strategies in a wide scope. Then it might be as viable as the more tried-and-true shows.
