Studies show that nine out of ten people can choose to wear contact lenses. However there may be individuals who will be unable to wear contact lenses. Some reasons why some people can't wear contact lenses are:
- Chronic or recurring eye infections or other eye ailments.
- Eye allergies.
- A work or home environment that is highly susceptible to dust, smoke sand, or dirt, which can cause harm to the eyes.
