Hard contact lenses are the type of lenses which offers clearer vision to the individuals who wear them. These are mostly made of hydrophobic plastic. This type of contact lens is not easily damaged. Hard contact lenses amy be somewhat arduous to wear for some people, because they can cause more discomfort than soft contact lenses. However, many people adjust very well to hard lenses and actually prefer them.
On the other hand, soft contact lenses are usually made from thin, adaptable lens materials and water. There are two types of soft contact lenses – daily wear lenses and extended wear lenses.
