When a person has primary anxiety, he often undergoes eating disorders. There is a high percentage of individuals suffering from both disorders.
In most cases this does not mean that if a person has an underlying anxiety he also has an eating disorder. Nevertheless, it can happen. When a person is anxious, he may lose his appetite because of the things that bother him or he may overeat due to stress.
