Many of them are. There would be no such stories if those things didn't happen.
If you are planning to have a facelift, see that the doctors who will perform the operation have enough knowledge and skill to do it right. The most common reasons why such problems occur is that the operation was not properly done or that the patient did not carefully follow the doctor's instructions about post-surgery care and treatment.
