There are modified bathtubs which can be utilized if your child is unable to sit in a regular bathtub. One example is the "Walk-in Bathtub," which has modified accessories to help you bathe your disabled child even without sitting.
You can also personally alter some bathtub accessories for easier bathing. You may opt to use some egg crate pads or non-slip foam. Just arrange them in a line on the bottom of the tub.
