To remove gum from clothing, put the clothes inside a plastic bag and place it in the freezer for one hour. Afterwards, remove the clothing from the bag and start bending the fabric under the gum. Since the gum is now very hard it should break rather easily. Use a smooth (not sharp) knife, like a butter or frosting knife, to scrape off the pieces of gum that don't fall off by themselves.
If this doesn't work, allow the clothing to return to room temperature. Then, dampen the fabric and the gum with a small amount of peanut butter, and rub. Again, you can use a smooth knife to completely remove it. After that, wash the clothing item.
