Having a candlelight dinner can sometimes leave you with candle wax stains that can spoil your mood the following morning. But don't worry; there are easy ways to remove candle wax stains that can get your tablecloth ready for another special meal by evening.
First, scoop off the excess wax with a spatula or spoon.
Next, lay the tablecloth on an ironing board and place a paper sack over the wax so it is completely covered. Then apply a hot iron to the paper. Change the wax-soaked paper bag when needed. Repeat this procedure until no more wax transfers to the paper.
Then apply stain remover to the spot and launder the tablecloth in the warmest water that is safe for the fabric. Use a liquid or powdered detergent of your choice.
After laundering. make sure that the candle wax stains are completely removed before putting the tablecloth in the dryer.
